Vox is an open-standards based election software system desgined for private or public elections. The features have been desgined with anonymity, reliability, security & transparency as a the focus (in that order).
For private elections Vox provides a method to manage the voter registration, create the ballots, collect the votes and tally the results.
In public elections Vox will provide low-cost, touch-screen terminal in the polling place plus the same feature-set offered in private elections.
Vox operates from secure, touch-screen terminal in the polling place, powered by Vox softare. Vox runs from optical media, which creates a more durable polling terminal than the Diebold products.
Vox powers the election database as well, recording votes in a transactional SQL database.
Vox is the only voting system designed from the ground up to be transparent from the Voter to Election Commission to the Media and the various party organizations.
